21 Tara Retreat with Geshe Tsundu
With Geshe Ngawang Tsundu
March 18 - 20, 2022
Join Geshe Tsundu for a weekend retreat where we will study, contemplate and immerse ourselves in “Tara” – an archetype of support and nourishment, protection and encouragement. Tara is a female bodhisattva, a being who delays their own Buddhahood or entry into nirvana in order to assist and alleviate the suffering of others. She is known as a saviouress and as the “mother of liberation” from suffering.
What are the benefits of the practice of Tara?
Tara can offer support to take you across to enlightenment. She is considered the mother of all Buddhas, or awakened ones. Tara is also a bodhisattva, which means she has dedicated her life to end the suffering of all beings. A bodhisattva takes a vow to remain in samsara until every being has reached nirvana.
When is it:
The retreat will begin on March 18th and run for two days and nights through to March 20th.
All instruction and a retreat booklet is provided in Tibetan, English and Chinese language.
